According to ISNA, Iranian endurance runner Mohammad Jaafar Moradi, who is in Germany to participate in the Berlin Marathon, managed to improve Iran's national record in this event by participating in this competition.

By recording the quorum of 2 hours, 17 minutes and 14 hundredths of seconds, Moradi improved the previous national quorum of this subject, which he had with a time of 2:17.41, after 8 years.

This quorum will be registered after the approval of the Berlin Marathon Organizing Committee and the negative doping test of Mohammad Jafar Moradi.
